One of the most fun adult things to do on Utopia of the Seas is hit up The Attic, the ship's adults-only comedy club and bar. It's definitely not G-rated — or PG-rated for that matter! — but grown-ups looking for a good laugh will certainly find it here. The venue, replete with red velvet curtains, nods to the intimate comedy clubs of New York City and Chicago. Here, unfiltered stand-up routines are sure to have you rocking in your seat before you can order a second round of cocktails. The live shows deliver an impressive and always-changing lineup of talent — comedians who specialize in everything from sketch to slapstick and roast-style takedowns.
Prefer to participate in the action? Consider signing up for Crazy Quest, an adults-only scavenger hunt where everyone can join in as the host throws out one hilarious challenge after another.
When Utopia of the Seas launched in July 2024, casino lovers were thrilled to discover two Casino Royale locations onboard. At each one, you'll find 30 table games and over 370 fortune-changing slot machines — and not a single person under the age of 18. Kids can walk through, but they can't stay, watch or participate in the games.
Follow the lead of James Bond and dress up in preparation for an evening of chance. Once you've donned a bit of glitz and glamour, it's time to lay down your chips at the craps table or pony up to the slot machines. Sip on a dry martini — shaken not stirred — or splurge on a victory bottle of Champagne as you toast to a great night out. Trust me, it's one of the most fun things to do for adults onboard Utopia of the Seas.
There are a whopping 23 bars on Utopia of the Seas, so your most difficult decision might just be where to grab your first drink. You could cool off with a pineapple guava sangria or a watermelon margarita at the Pesky Parrot. Alternatively, it's always wine o'clock at Giovanni's Italian Kitchen, where you can savor a glass of your favorite varietal. You might also consider sipping a draft beer while watching the game on one of the many televisions at Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade.
If you're in the mood for some low-key guitar strumming and a frothy pint, look no further than Bell & Barley, an English-style pub that hosts various musicians throughout sailings. One caveat — while kids are not allowed to sit at any of the bars, they are allowed to come into these places and sit at a table. That said, you're likely to see even fewer children as the night progresses.
The entertainment options onboard Utopia of the Seas include five live music venues, promising a good time for everyone regardless of musical preference. Swifties can belt out some ballads at Spotlight Karaoke, while lovers of '80s music can go old-school with a little stage-stomping worthy of Prince or Madonna. Have stage fright? You can reserve a private karaoke room to cut loose discreetly.
Another great venue onboard is Music Hall, which showcases a rotating roster of cover bands and a dance floor that's perfect for busting out some of your best moves. If high-energy sets are what you seek, lose yourself to the music at Boleros, where you can shake your hips to salsa, cumbia, merengue and samba.
If you'd rather shift into a lower gear then head over to Schooner Bar, where a pianist tickles the ivories late into the night.
If you're craving some quiet time by the water, make your way to the Solarium on Deck 15, a tranquil oasis for cruisers aged 18 and up. Here, you can relax in a quiet pool or whirlpool, admiring the panoramic sea views — one of the best adult only cruise activities for those who prefer chill vibes to thrill rides. This is also the place to dive into a good book while unwinding on the in-water loungers or stretching out on the roomy daybeds. There's a dedicated bar, and the Solarium Bistro serves delectable Mediterranean fare for you savor during your day of rest.
After a few hours of relaxation, consider extending the feeling at the Vitality Spa, where you can indulge in massages, facials and body wraps.
There are an astounding 21 dining options onboard Utopia of the Seas, which means you can find whatever you're craving every night of your sailing. Whether you want to dive into lobster rolls, a classic Coney Island-style hot dog or almost anything else, the food onboard is sure to satisfy.
Kids are welcome at all the dining venues except Solarium Bistro, which serves healthy Mediterranean fare like Greek salads, baba ghanoush, tzatziki and lamb chops. You'll want to dine there at least once. After that, if kid-free meals are important to you, book tables on the later side when you know the littlest cruisers are likely to be tucked into their beds.
Going high-end is another smart way to surround yourself with like-minded — and like-aged — foodies. Indulge in a special dinner at Chef's Table, which dishes up elegant dishes such as scallop carpaccio with yuzu vinaigrette and roasted branzino with lemon confit. Another good choice: Izumi Hibachi & Sushi, which offers a private multi-course dining experience tailored to your palate.
Your adults-only itinerary can continue once you're onshore, too. For example, at Royal Caribbean private destination Perfect Day at CocoCay, you can stroll straight to Hideaway Beach, Perfect Day at CocoCay's ultimate adults-only beachfront paradise. It's easily one of the best things to do in The Bahamas for adults. The adults-only space — a one-acre cove with a half-moon-shaped lagoon — includes a stretch of private beach outfitted with umbrellas, loungers and hammocks, as well as infinity pools, one of which boasts a swim-up bar and a DJ spinning party beats all day.
Here you'll find plenty of bars and eateries serving burgers and pizza, as well as seafood ceviche and coconut shrimp, all of which are best washed down with a frozen drink. If you want to upgrade your day even more, Hideaway Beach's constellation of exclusive cabanas features dedicated attendants, phone-charging outlets, a mini fridge and pool floats. Consider booking one for the ultimate grown-up beach day.
